Dear Fellow Atlantan,

I want to thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Post 3, At-Large Councilmember. I greatly appreciate the support that you have shown in the last two elections. During my first term I developed this website to share information with you and as a tool for you to communicate with me.

My office has been very active in the efforts to revitalize downtown, address public safety concerns and develop the public policy that governs Atlanta. I hope that you will view some of the coverage of these efforts at the “In the News” link.

In addition to policy work, we have also created several programs to address the needs of Atlantans. Each April we host the “Swing Into Spring Youth Golf and Tennis Camp”, every fall my office sponsors “Plant a Tree, Build a Community” during which we distribute over 200 trees at no cost to the participants. We have also hosted several community forums and receptions to encourage the flow of information from the constituents to the City Council.

Rest assured that I have several new programs currently in the pipeline that I hope will address issues in your community and enhance the quality of life for Atlanta residents.
