The Office of Atlanta City Councilman H. Lamar Willis – Post 3, At- Large
is seeking applicants for an internship. The internship is for 15 hours per week (days are flexible) for three (3)
months, though other schedules will be considered. Internships are voluntary
positions although we will work with interns to help them get college credit.

The Intern must:
- Have experience with academic research and familiarity of online research engines/databases.
- Possess knowledge of governmental affairs and an interest in ethical and philosophical
approaches to Atlanta City government problems.
- Have excellent writing/editing skills.

Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with staff research assignments and outreach projects.
- Attending meetings or hearings.
- Responding to citizen inquiries and complaints.
- Providing support to Councilman H. Lamar Willis and staff.
